About Comedy
One of University Productions’ most active committees is without a doubt the Comedy Committee. Members of this committee spend much of their time watching demo tapes of prospective comedians, selecting comedians, and setting up for shows. Recent performances include Colin Quinn, the late Mitch Hedberg, Steve Byrne, Joe Matarese, Dan Cronin, and Steve Hofstetter. A semester typically includes a couple small shows on weekends throughout the semester and one larger show on Family Weekend in the Fall and during Greek Week in the Spring.
